About

Hi, my name is Jamie Peutherer, a psychology graduate working in SEO who thinks he is interesting despite evidence to the contrary.

I created Xnanga back in 2013 as a place to publish articles on whatever topics happened to interest me on any particular day. What started out as a small blog that posted on anything and everything, from gaming and technology to philosophy and psychology, has slowly evolved into a more streamlined website where I try to publish pieces on self-improvement, life-philosophy. and whatever else interests me. So basically, while the site has grown over the years, it is still as big a mash-up of random topics as it was when I first started writing.

With a day job eating 40+ hours of my week and a flat in Glasgow to maintain, I still hope to find time to publish here occasionally when the mood strikes. Ideally, I would like to be proactive enough to post every single week at least once. However, having already tried this in previous years and always slowly edging towards apathy, this time posts will be more sporadic, but hopefully still high in quality!

What to Expect in 2017

Nothing. Expect nothing and you won’t be disappointed.

I’m joking, of course, you’ll still be disappointed.

I’m meta-joking at this point, but really I will be attempting to publish more content on a more regular basis. My current problem is getting over the grey haze that is feeling like there is nothing significant to post good content about. Of course, I know there are lots of significant things happening across the world every day to discuss, in my case it’s more like having a nihilistic perspective towards writing in recent times.

I won’t go too much into it, but the short version is this: I’ll try to publish more posts more often just remember that I’m trying to get my mojo back this year so it might be a slow start.
